Will's concert piece, The Rape Cantata, for Baritone and Piano, will be performed on May 11th, 2005. This piece sets poetry from male survivors of sexual abuse to music that strives to capture the many emotions involved. Will hopes that the piece can be healing for survivors and can help non-survivors broach a subject that is unjustly stigmatized. All are welcome and Will looks forward to meeting you.
The performance is part of a composers’ recital at 8 PM at the Mannes School of Music at 150 W. 85th St, between Columbus and Amsterdam in Manhattan, NY.
